The stand your ground law could’ve more easily been justified had it been Rondo shooting considering he was getting beat up. Through reading up on this, Georgia’s “Stand you Ground” laws are very vague and leave a lot up to the court to interpret. Just look at the videos I posted or search fight videos on YouTube for plenty of cases of people getting beat up and not really having any serious injuries.don’t believe the replier with his “human skulls can only withstand X amount of force and junky could do that”
The people on here who think you are going to die if you get into a street fight watch too many movies and likely never have been in a fight or seen many in real life.when people fight and someone hits the ground it is almost automatic someone is going to try and kick them in the head or face.and I would be shocked if anyone reading this personally knew someone who got beat to death.those are usually freak accidents or the result of underlying medical conditionsĪ jury of peers judges based on what they believe is reasonable.my guess them guys in Atlanta are going watch the video, see Von punching the dude and if he tries to say “I was afraid that those punches and kicks would have killed my friend or caused serious injury to him” are going to think “I see people get they a** whooped worse than that all the time”.dude wasn’t even knocked out yet in the video and was still fighting back somewhat To physically beat a grown man to death with your bare hands / feet is extremely difficult to do.and would also likely require beating someone long after they fell unconscious.dude in the video was still fighting back I don’t have time for the name calling / not really trying to do thatįor anyone reading this, the bullet example clearly is a complete different ball game.bullets and guns are made to do lethal force and designed to kill.a reasonable person could think if you pull a gun to shoot someone it can kill them My guess is the people from Atlanta who are on the jury are going to have seen several fights or been in them.and they should know that someone stomping on your head won’t really hurt you, let alone those punches from von.And there were police right there who would likely break it upĪnd before someone comments that getting stomped out can kill you and a bunch of other nonsense just watch this bookaman video ( ) or when flame beat up that dude ( ), or wooski getting jumped in that video.people get jumped and stomped out everyday and are fine outside of bruises and swelling
Also I really don’t think you can justify being in fear for someone’s life just because they are getting beat up
